What are pleached trees?
Pleached trees is the name given to trees grown with straight clear stems and a head of branches that have been formally trained onto a flat bamboo framework, in order to create an elevated, leafy screen. They were traditionally a feature in more formal gardens; however, they are now equally as popular today for a variety of garden types and styles and have adapted well to modern urban gardens, providing privacy screening without taking up much space.
