Often known as Mexican feather grass, Stipa Pony Tails are topped with silver-green flowers which appear in fluffy plumes, making a very decorative and eye-catching grass. These are great when used as a feature in a perennial border, as their tendency to sway in the slightest breeze adds an element of movement.
Pony Tails can grow to 60cm and are the ideal ornamental grass for your garden. Pony Tails form a compact upright tuft of thread-like leaves, with narrow, arching, feathery flowering panicles in summer.
