The Morello cherry tree is renowned for its large, deep red cherries, celebrated for their robust flavour, making them ideal for jams, jellies, and desserts such as open-top cherry pies or crumbles. Known as sour cherries, Morello cherries can be used fresh or frozen for later culinary use.
