Pink Escallonia Hedge Plants Description
Pink Escallonia is suitable for most soils and situations and is particularly well suited to coastal situations but is not shade tolerant and does not like extremely cold positions. It is relatively fast growing at approx 30/45cm p.a. It should be pruned for shape after flowering. The variety of Pink Escallonia we supply is 'Apple Blossom' which has a pastel pink hue graduating to a deeper candy pink towards the edges of the flowers, which emerge from deep rosy buds..
You can see more information on all varieties available in our ultimate Escallonia hedging guide.

Our Escallonia plants are a popular evergreen option. You can include this species within a feature full of additional evergreen hedging plants, creating the ultimate focal point as it will bring even more colour, shape and texture to a certain area of a garden.

Pruning Advice
General hedge trimming should be done immediately after flowering. Escallonia will also benefit from a harder prune in early Spring (April-May).
