Description
Pieris 'Forest Flame' is a large evergreen, upright and frost-hardy shrub, with glossy leaves that are red when young, turning pink, creamy white and then dark green. In mid to late spring, it produces abundant clusters of cream bell-shaped flowers that resemble Lily-of-the-valley.
Pieris 'Forest Flame' prefers acidic, fertile and moist soil that is well-drained. Plant in a sunny or partly-shaded, sheltered position for it to thrive. It is suitable for beds and borders though will grow equally well in a container, bringing colour and seasonal interest to garden or patio.
