Our Perfect Purples collection features 6 garden plants that have varying shades of purple blooms, from deep-purple to pinky-purple and lilac. Offering vibrancy, fragrance and versatility in look and planting, these powerhouse purples will delight and inspire, as well as attract an array of beneficial pollinators.  The collection features:

• Buddleja 'Black Knight'  - The award-winning Buddleia ‘Black Knight' Butterfly Bush has showy, long, purple-violet flower spikes with an attractive, sweet fragrance blooming from July to September. As with other Buddlejas, it entices lots of butterflies and beneficial pollinators to the garden. Suits a large flower bed.
• Lavender 'Hidcote' - A lovely variety of old fashioned English Lavender (introduced in 1950) but with vivid, dark-purple flower spikes - stunning for large planting schemes. Exceptionally fragrant and ideal for beds, borders or pots growing to about 50cm in height.
• Lavender 'Munstead' - The traditional English lavender variety, 'Munstead' is beloved for its delightful fragrance and has become a staple in the classic English cottage garden and countryside home. Hardy and fairly compact with pale purple flower spires and silvery-green foliage which is equally fragrant.
• Hebe 'Silver Anniversary' - Hebe ‘Silver Anniversary' is an evergreen shrub which boasts stunning variegated foliage. It's slender leaves have grey-green centres with silvery pink edges. In the summer months the shrub produces purple cone-shaped flowers which attract pollinators to the garden.
• Syringa 'Prince Wolkonsky' - This deciduous upright shrub has lovely heart shaped mid-green foliage. From late spring to early summer, it produces panicles of stunning pink lilac flowers, which have a delightful fragrance.
• Vinca major - This prolific, evergreen, ground cover shrub is noted for its abundance of five-petalled lilac flowers which emerge in spring and last through until autumn. Will grow in sun or shade, in poor or good soil. Hardy, unfussy and incredibly charming.
