This Mulch Mat solution is an easy, hassle free way of protecting new plants through their first few seasons. No weeding required!

Installing your Mulch Mat is easy. Prepare the ground, as you would normally, by either digging planting holes or a trench. Lay your Mulch Matting over the soil and carefully cut 'X' shaped slits into the mat above each planting hole using a sharp knife. Plant your plants through the Mulch Matting and into their holes in the ground.

The Mulch Mat shouldn't be covered with soil, you can cover with bark chip or stones for decoration if preferred though the natural finish of our Mulch Matting is attractive left bare.

Our Mulch Matting can be ordered by the metre and is 1 metre wide, so for a piece of Mulch Matting 6m x 1m order 6 'units' and for a piece 30m x 1m order 30 'units'
