Description
Our pot grown native hedging solutions are perfect for gardens and countryside alike and include UK native hedging species that provide year round interest and a diverse habitat for wildlife. The pallet deal will be made up of a selection of the following species:
- Hawthorn
- Field Maple
- Beech
- Hornbeam
Our pot grown native hedging option is ideal if you are looking for a native mix that can planted at any time of year, unlike our mixed bare root packs which can only be planted from autumn through to spring. With an established root system and several years' growth, the result is a more mature hedge on planting than with our bare root native hedging, and a high planting success rate.
All of the species that make up our pot grown native hedging selection are deciduous but have been selected to provide maximum visual interest and wildlife attributes. These species will provide a long period of interest for humans (in flower, berries, leaf colour, leaf shape) as well as food, shelter and protection for a wealth of insects and mammals. Planting a mixed native hedge encourages bio-diversity and helps conserve our natural heritage and wildlife populations.
