Description
Lavatera 'Baby Barnsley' also known as Tree Mallow 'Baby Barnsley' or even 'Barnsley Baby' is a deciduous, compact shrub with an upright habit. It has three-lobed mid-green leaves and stems featuring a prolific display of beautiful pale pink flowers with a soft marshmallow hue and duskier pink centre from June to September.
This exceptionally pretty shrub is extremley easy to grow, requires a sunny location and moist, well-drained soil of most types. Water and feed monthly and it's good to go, unless very warm and then water accordingly It is particularly suited to being grown in a container, but can also be planted.
To maintain, cut back all stems to around 12 inches in the spring.
