Description
Bring year-round warmth and movement to your garden planting or containers with this colourful ornamental grass. Carex buchananii 'Red Rooster' is an evergreen sedge grass (also called leatherleaf sedge) with fine, wispy, arching fronds in tones of orange, bronze and red. In summer, fine stems are topped with brown flower spikes.
Plant in a sunny or partially shaded spot in well-drained soil, preferably in a more sheltered location.
Carex Red Rooster will grow to an average height and spread of 50cm to 1m.
