The hedging species that make up these horse friendly mixed native hedging packs have been specially selected for their safety around horses. Â They contain species that are non-toxic to both horses and grazing animals in general, provide lots of seasonal interest by way of flowers, fruits and berries, and also create a diverse habitat for wildlife.
Our native hedging species are in decline so by planting this mix, not only will you benefit from one of our most cost effective hedging packs, you will also be helping to conserve the nation's countryside heritage and supporting local wildlife. Suitable for either sheltered or exposed locations and most light conditions, this hedging will grow at an average to fast rate of 20-40cm a year and will grow well in most soils except for wet.
